Meet the Creator Behind Uniquely Dahlia

Initially, I would like to offer a heartfelt greeting and welcome. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and explore my blog, as it would simply be a blog without your presence. Now, let's move ahead and meet the creator!

Let's start from the beginning. My passion for travel began in my youth, thanks to my parents. Every summer, we embarked on a two-week road trip to a new state, experiencing various roadside attractions along the way. We stayed at different State and National Parks, relishing the experiences and sights we encountered on the road. I didn't take my first plane ride until I was 18 or 19 years old, which is when my love for travel truly began.

Later, I joined the military and was first stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, which allowed me to visit places I'd only dreamed of. I explored cities like Paris, London, Dublin, Barcelona, Ankara, Amsterdam, and Berlin. In addition to travel, I have a deep appreciation for history.

My creative side has always been present, but I first delved into scrapbooking in 2004, and it grew from there. I took a break for a while and have recently started again, which is where my "Chapter 40" scrapbook comes into play.

I will be documenting and sharing my progress here, scrapbooking and junk journaling my 40th year, a milestone year. It won't just be for my birthday month; it will cover the entire year.

I've decided to divide it into volumes. Each volume will encompass two months. My first volume, covering January and February, is nearly complete. I also maintain a list in my notes of different pages I wish to include in the scrapbook. Honestly, I wish I had done this for my 30th birthday.

With each volume, I am excited to unveil all the details and delve into future projects. Thank you once again, and here's to what lies ahead!
